Running Events in Central Texas has a long history of connecting local nonprofit organizations with legendary races to produce some of the best events in the country. We invite you to join Cap10K in supporting these upcoming events.

Circle C Ranch

The Rattlesnake Relays is a 12 mile relay in Circle C Ranch. Instead of the fastest time, the winning team is determined by being closest to their estimated finish time. There will be a staggered start and the Circle C Run Club reserves the right to implement a standardized over/under in minutes to every participating team’s estimated completion time to mitigate sandbagging and/or cheating. 
 
Oh, and instead of batons, there’ll be rattlesnakes (toy rattlesnakes, of course).

Each November, over 5,000 runners and walkers take to the streets of downtown Austin for the annual Run For The Water 10 Miler, 5K, and Kids K through our beautiful west Austin course. The race benefits the Gazelle Foundation, dedicated to providing clean water to the people of Burundi. Each registration equals clean water for one person for life. The ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot, one of Austin’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions, started in 1991 with just a handful of volunteers and 600 participants. We are celebrating January 1st of 2024 in the best way we know how – with a run, great people and plenty of post-run festivities. Our New Year’s Day run is an annual tradition that Rogue started back in 2014. January 1st is Day 1 of a new year of training. It’s Day 1 of re-committing to your goals, and it’s Day 1 of chasing those goals with a community of others who want to help you get there. As always, this run is FREE and open to everyone whether you are currently a Rogue member or not. Water stops will be provided with Gatorade and water along the way every 2 – 3 miles. When you finish, we will have mimosas and orange juice to celebrate together. This is a great chance to hang and connect with much of the Austin running community!

Calling all Superheroes! Throughout Super September, Austin superheroes will assemble to race against child abuse and neglect at the 13th annual CASA Superhero Run! This annual 5K and Kids 1K race helps children in the foster care system in Central Texas by supporting the CASA programs serving Travis, Williamson, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, and Hays counties.
