Each registered participant will be issued a race bib number with a plastic timing tag attached to the back of the bib. The bib is to be worn on the front of participant’s shirt. Timing mats at the start, half-way point and finish will record participant chip time. Participants can scan the QR-code on the front of their bib to open the log in page for their runner profile. Once logged in, participant’s complete results are displayed.
The Winners’ Circle (WC), is the premier post-race zone that celebrates the top three men’s and women’s runners as well as all of our incredible Statesman Cap10K finishers. Top runners will take their rightful place on the podium and, for the second time in the race’s historic 46 years, receive oversized gift card from our sponsor and the executive race team. Gift card will be presented to the three men’s and women’s finishers. The Loop Running Supply Co. shoes will be presented to the top men’s and women’s finisher. Award Presentation 9:00 a.m. at the Winner’s Circle.

Age Group Awards
The top three participants in each age group will receive their awards in the mail when the official results are confirmed. Age group medals are awarded based on runners chip time. The Statesman Capitol 10,000 Race Director tabulates all the results and all decisions are final. Age groups for Male & Female are as follows: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95 & over. Participants without a Start, 5K Split and Finish Time are not eligible for age group awards.
King & Queen of the Hill Awards
The King & Queen of the Hill Challenge pits runners to compete up one of the notable hills on W. 15th St. at West Ave. All participants will be timed on the ascent. The fastest participant times between the two timing mats on the ascent will be crowned King & Queen of the Hill.
Polka dot jersey awarded to one male and one female in each of the three categories: Overall, Masters, and 19 & under. Award Presentation 9:00 a.m. at the Winner’s Circle.
