Rochelle & The Sidewinders
Rochelle Creone is the lead vocalist for Rochelle & The Sidewinders, an award winning blues rock band based out of Austin Texas. The Sidewinders have performed at major festivals all over the state and beyond and have recorded two critically acclaimed albums of original songs. You will love her energy!
DJ Neema V
DJ Neema V combines classic turntablism techniques with modern finger drumming and sample chopping skills to create non-stop danceability. This open format Austin DJ draws on a deep knowledge of music and music theory to keep the energy building. You can catch this full time local DJ rocking downtown cruises along town lake, or at downtown venues like Lux, Nook and Barcelona. When he’s not rocking live DJ sets he writes and produces hip-hop, reggaetón, and dance music with various local artists.

We are a group of Chenda (South Indian percussion drum) enthusiasts from Austin. We have been learning and performing Chenda melam in Central Texas for more than 3 years. Chenda Melam is performed by a group during major festivals in Kerala, India and the art form is more than 300 years old. Weiss High School opened in the Fall of 2017 as the 4th high school in Pflugerville ISD. Through participation in band, students of the Weiss Band will learn about the importance of selflessness, integrity, work ethic, teamwork, perseverance, and much more. Music will be used as our tool to teach students these traits and how to become positive, contributing members of society.
