Audioroad is a melding of four artists each having traveled individual and diverse music roads. We are a group of Chenda (South Indian percussion drum) enthusiasts from Austin. We have been learning and performing Chenda melam in Central Texas for more than 3 years. Chenda Melam is performed by a group during major festivals in Kerala, India and the art form is more than 300 years old. Come by and enjoy the entertainment during Cap10K and we will re energize you.

The John B. Connally High School Cougar Band is a dynamic and spirited program dedicated to musical excellence, discipline, and teamwork. Known for its powerful performances on the field and in the concert hall, the band provides students with opportunities to grow as musicians, leaders, and individuals. The Connally High School Marching Band is an 8-time Area Finalist and a 4-time State Finalist at the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) marching band contests. These distinctions reflect their strong performances at UIL area contests, where top bands compete for advancement to the state level. In addition, the program has earned 21 Sweepstakes Awards, recognizing superior ratings across marching, concert, and sight-reading contests. The Cougar Band continues to foster school pride and community spirit while upholding a tradition of hard work, creativity, and success.

Weiss High School opened in the Fall of 2017 as the 4th high school in Pflugerville ISD. Through participation in band, students of the Weiss Band will learn about the importance of selflessness, integrity, work ethic, teamwork, perseverance, and much more. Music will be used as our tool to teach students these traits and how to become positive, contributing members of society.

The 36th Infantry Division Band is the premier musical organization of the Texas Army National Guard. Based at Camp Mabry in Austin Texas, the 36th has over 50 members who perform a wide variety of music from standard marches and classical music through modern and popular hits. The 36th’s “Rock Before Dawn” is a highly talented six-member popular music group that specializes in performing an electrifying mix of country and rock music. “Rock Before Dawn” can be found performing across Texas at festivals such as BudaFest and Kaboomtown, while also supporting fellow service men and women at official military events.
