Global Running Day
Hosted by Central Machine Works & East Side Beer Runners
Global Running Day is a day for people around the world to celebrate the joys of running. Participation is easy—just pledge to take part in some type of running activity on June 3, 2026. It can be a solo lap around the block, a long run with friends, or even a game of tag with your kids. The key is to share your passion for the sport and inspire others to get moving too. Central Machine Works & East Side Beer Runners are hosting a free social run from Central Machine Works. You’re welcome to join us, we’d love to see you.
Central Machine Works is a 12,000 ft brewpub and beer hall in east Austin situated in a machine shop that made airplane parts during WWII. The space has an industrial, yet polished and elegant taproom, a massive outdoor beer garden, and an event/entertainment venue. We have hosted amateur wrestling, big-name bands, motorcycle shows, commercials and so much more. We like to create a good time. Our aim is to brew the highest quality, session-able beers with a focus on lagers and historical ales. Our kitchen offers an array of classic and contemporary European pub fare with a focus on pizza, which is damn good.
RSVP
It’s Free to participate but please complete the RSVP, it’ll help us plan our supplies.
We will also send you to travel and/or weather advisory info when needed.
