2021 Special Edition
In the interest of the health and safety of our participants and in anticipation of the city of Austin significantly modifying or canceling our large-scale in-person event, due to extended restrictions, we are moving our 44th Cap10K race to a virtual format.
As you’ll learn more about on this site, the virtual race features 10 different exciting routes across Central Texas. One dollar from every registration will go to Marathon Kids, the race beneficiary. Registered participants can pick up their race T-shirt, bib, finisher’s medal and fun swag from local sponsors at the contactless drive-thru packet pick-up. It will also include music, gift cards and giveaways.
We are grateful for our running community’s continued understanding and support of our race and beneficiary. We look forward to creating a dynamic virtual race experience in 2021 and then getting to work on our 45th race for 2022.

Let’s stay connected for the long run!

What time does the virtual 10K start? True to the design of a virtual event, you can run your 10K on any day and at any time of day between 4/11/21 and 4/30/21. There will be a kick-off virtual race start on 4/11/21 at 8:00 a.m. (rolling start) at each of the 10 locations.
