Rules & Restrictions
Open Teams
- Team registration is only available online.
- The cumulative finish times of the fastest 10 team members will be added up to create a team time.
- Team time determines the winning team (finish times are based on Chip Time).
- Teams that do not have at least 10 team member finish times are not eligible for the Fastest Team award. There is no maximum number of team members.
- Team members are eligible for individual age group awards and are able to place in the overall results.
- Team members must be registered with a team to be eligible for team awards.
- Teams must have 35 registered members by 3/22/2022 at 11:59 p.m. to qualify for reserved team table at the Finish Line Festival.
- The first 40 teams to reach 35 members and opt into a team table, will receive a reserved picnic table with an umbrella at the Finish Line Festival.
- Only the Team Captain has the discretion to opt into bulk team packet pick-up and team table. If you are registered as a team member contact your Team Captain for specific packet pick-up instructions.
- Only the Team Captain or pre-determined designee can claim bulk team packets.
- If you are the Captain and would prefer to pay in bulk for team members’ registration, contact customer service for a Bulk Payment Agreement.
School Teams
- Team registration is only available online.
- The School Challenge is reserved for students and school faculty only. Parents and relatives are encouraged to create a separate team.
- Team Captain must register first before team members can assemble under the team name.
- New this year, girls and boys will be scored separately for awards. Girls division team champions are separate from boys division team champions.
- The cumulative finish times of the fastest 5 students will be added up to create a team time for each gender. The first 5 girls’ and first 5 boys’ finish times are used to creating team time.
- Teams must have a minimum of 5 girls or 5 boys’ finish times to be eligible for the Fastest Division Team award. There is no maximum number of team members.
- Team member age groups by division: Elementary 5-10; Middle 11-13; High 14-18.
- School administrators’ times are not counted towards team time. Team members that do not conform to age groups will be removed from the team score.
