Red River – 1209 Red River St, Austin, TX 78701
Arboretum – 10710 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78759

The Brick Oven was established in 1982 in downtown Austin. We built the largest wood-fired Brick Oven in Texas from original designs, using cast pieces over 100 years old. In 1989 a second location in Northwest Austin was added and a similar sized oven constructed. The massive size and high temperatures assure fast, consistent cooking and give our food a unique character and flavor. We feature house-made breads from original recipes, high-quality fresh ingredients and are locally owned and operated.

Olive & June

Race participants show your official race number and receive 20% off pasta entrée, limit 1 per customer.
Austin-North Central – 3411 Glenview Ave, Austin, TX 78703

Named after the grandmothers of chef Shawn and his wife, Olive & June opened in 2012 with an emphasis on making every pasta, as many as 12 different kinds, in house daily. If this doesn’t make Olive & June unique enough, the 3 story building is enveloped by a 200 year old oak tree with 4 different dining areas inside and out. Olive & June has the largest and most diverse selection of Italian wine, Amari, and Grappa in the city, but to central Austin’s regulars it’s equally well known for its formal yet friendly service, a hallmark of all Shawn Cirkiel restaurants. Celebrating the cuisine and culture of Southern Italy, expect to see new menu features daily focusing on fresh vegetables, pasta, and unique platters for the table where everything is meant to be shared. The restaurant offers complimentary valet parking nightly for all of our guests.

The Backspace

Race participants show your official race number and receive a complimentary insalate with the purchase of a pizza. Limit one per table.
Downtown – 507 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701

Located literally in the backspace behind chef Cirkiel’s iconic Parkside is Austin’s first Neapolitan pizzeria. Intimate and unapologetic, the Backspace is a rustic, 30-seat oasis off 6th street featuring all Italian wine, one Italian beer, a seasonal selection of Italian antipasti and, of course, Neapolitan pizza. The flour, the tomatoes and our brick oven, the centerpiece of the dining room, are all imported from Italy to make a style of pie that, with our homemade mozzarella, can only be called Neapolitan. Founded in 2010, the backspace is now open for lunch and dinner. Reservations are highly recommended, but we always keep our bar counter open for walk-ins. Have a drink at Parkside next door or take a quick tour of 6th street and we’ll call you when your table’s ready

We first opened our doors to the Austin community on May 5, 1980, serving made from scratch comfort food out of a small 1930s bungalow in Central Austin on Kerbey Lane.

For the first few months of business, the original location operated as a restaurant and housed a cozy apartment for our founders, David and Patricia. The beloved original location still stands and thrives today as an iconic Austin landmark along with 7 additional locations across the greater Austin-area.

Kerbey Lane Cafe remains 100% family-owned to this day and we continue to stay true to our original values of serving delicious meals that are thoughtfully sourced, scratch made, and affordable while welcoming all who come through our doors.

At COVER 3, their three “zones” include dining, spirits and sports… and they work hard to keep all three zones covered. COVER 3 focuses on the entire entertainment spectrum, from the food and drinks to the atmosphere, all the while creating an enjoyable experience for diners and sports enthusiasts alike.
