There is a vast array of social and coach lead opportunities for aspiring runners and walkers to choose from. A free running group that loves beer! We meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm from Central Machine Works. All runners welcome!

Our training groups are fun, supportive environment to kickstart your health goals. The program is a mix of walking and running. Run/walk intervals with the goal of longer runs between the walk breaks. We offer 5k and 10k sessions. During the fall, we offer Half Marathon training.

Buda Running Club hosts free and friendly community runs where all pace levels are welcome to join. We run early morning every Wednesday and Fridays at 5 a.m. and Sundays at 6 a.m. with a consistent four mile route. Our runs are also social where we also enjoy a cup of coffee after our runs. All paces are welcome to join in on the fun runs we host.

Plant Powered Athlete ATX is a running group and social club for plant-based and veg-curious folks in the Austin area. All levels of runners are welcome, as well as non-vegan/non-vegetarian individuals! Various route distances and/or pace groups will be available at each run. Come enjoy a weekly social run and interesting conversation about plant-based nutrition for athletes! We are a free walking/running group based out of Austin, Texas. We meet every Sunday morning are various vegan friendly eateries around town. We cover 3-5 miles.

Take your running to the next level with Run Club+®, our 8-12week guided training programs for 5K, 10K, or half marathon distance runs. We provide opportunities to learn and improve your running techniques through our detailed training plans, coaching, and community support. All runs and classes are stroller-friendly. Since 2009, Austin Youth Fitness has been encouraging active lifestyles for all participants and promoting fitness fun! Our mission is to teach kiddos to love running, biking, and yoga as well as the proper form and technique in order to be life long athletes.

Formerly known as our #caf run, we open our doors for a 6:30am community run each and every Friday morning from our downtown Seaholm location. Any pace and distance is encouraged, although a majority of the group will typically range from three to seven miles. Those looking to go farther are encouraged to arrive earlier to finish with the group and we’re pet friendly—so bring along your four-legged friends if they’d like to join.

The Austin Beer Run Club was founded in 2012. We are a casual run club that meets every Tuesday evening in the heart of Austin. All speeds and abilities are welcome. We’re here to have fun. Always remember the “carrot” at the end of the stick: Cold BEER! We look forward to seeing you!

Our club’s mission is to bring the neighbors of Circle C and southwest Austin together through running, building community and having fun. We foster a safe environment for runners by hosting organized runs, providing a platform for runners to stay connected, promoting safety, and giving back to the community.

Local group open to all, we have a mix of runners and walkers at various paces. We meet at West Pecan Coffee + Beer Saturday mornings and try to throw in an evening Happy Hour Run once a month from Three Legged Goat. We like to enjoy coffee and tacos together after our morning run.

Our club’s mission is to support marathoners, half-marathoners and runners of all experience levels – from first-timers to advanced marathoners and to promote the sport in and around Austin, Texas. In addition, every year Twenty-Six Two provides free training to a group of runners who want to complete their first marathon or goal race.

This fall, join the Statesman Cap10K on a new adventure that combines your interest in exploring new training routes with the love for a delicious cup o’ joe: Austin’s Coffee House 10K Sunrise Tour. Through this new training program, we’re inviting you to join us each weekend to explore new custom-designed 5K or 10K routes that start and finish at local coffee houses. Reconnect with friends and meet new ones. Join us at the start line of this satisfying new training opportunity.

We’re really excited to see thousands of you training for our annual 10K in this new way and staying connected with the Cap10K community for the long run.

  • Location: Sunrise Tour meetings rotate to a new coffee house location every two weeks. Check the event page for the next meeting.
  • Participation: Free to participate, coffee perks for bib passport members.
  • Schedule: Fall tour meetings are approximately every two weeks at 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Fall 2022 Tour runs from October 1 to December 17.
  • Distance: Course routes are measured to an approximate 6.2-mile distance. Participants are encouraged to choose a training distance based on their personal fitness level.
  • Fitness: All abilities welcome.
