Calling all Superheroes! Throughout Super September, Austin superheroes will assemble to race against child abuse and neglect at the 13th annual CASA Superhero Run! This year, participants will have the option to race in-person on or to race virtually any time during September. This annual 5K and Kids 1K race helps children in the foster care system in Central Texas by supporting the CASA programs serving Travis, Williamson, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, and Hays counties.

This fall, join the Statesman Cap10K on a new adventure that combines your interest in exploring new training routes with the love for a delicious cup o’ joe: Austin’s Coffee House 10K Sunrise Tour. Through this new training program, we’re inviting you to join us each weekend to explore new custom-designed 5K or 10K routes that start and finish at local coffee houses. Reconnect with friends and meet new ones. Join us at the start line of this satisfying new training opportunity.

The Daisy Dash will have three distances to choose from–the Daisy 5K, a newly added fall 10K, and a kids mile. The 10k will also feature as the second race in the Austin Distance Challenge. It’s a day to bring the entire family out to race and join in all of the fun. All proceeds from the event will benefit Marathon Kids.

One Race. A Lifetime of Change. For over 15 years running, the Gazelle Foundation has thrown the best race in town. Each November, over 5,000 runners and walkers take to the streets of downtown Austin for the annual Run For The Water 10 Miler, 5K, and Kids K through our beautiful west Austin course. The race benefits the Gazelle Foundation, dedicated to providing clean water to the people of Burundi. Each registration equals clean water for one person for life. Clean water provides a path out of poverty, bringing access to better health, stronger communities, jobs, education, and most of all: hope

The Run By The Creek is an all-road course that follows Onion Creek and is considered one of the prettiest races in the Austin area. Our proceeds are used to promote running and healthy lifestyles in the local community. Our race started in 2012 and this will be our 10th anniversary. All of our board are runners and our race focuses on a great runner experience.

The Long Center

The ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot, one of Austin’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions, started in 1991 with just a handful of volunteers and 600 participants. Today it has grown to be the largest 5 miles run in Texas. Your participation helps support local programs in our community like Caritas of Austin. Caritas of Austin builds well-being by making sure that people have a safe home, access to healthy groceries, jobs that provide a reliable living wage, and educational opportunities to learn life skills.

Run Downhill to Downtown! The 3M Half Marathon presented by Under Armour boasts one of the fastest 13.1-mile courses in the country and will celebrate its 28th year running on Jan. 22, 2023. More than 7,000 runners took to the Austin streets in 2022. Runners will enjoy a point-to-point course with mostly downhill running that showcases some of Austin’s finest locations. Starting in north Austin and finishing near the Texas State Capitol, runners will appreciate a 300’+ net elevation drop.
