How to Get to the Race
On behalf of the Statesman Cap10K race staff we would like to invite you to plan ahead when making your travel arrangements to this year’s race. We want everyone to arrive on time for the 40th annual running so, be mindful of your primary and back-up travel plans. Below we have listed recommendations for catching public transportation to the race.
Ride Sharing services currently available in the Austin (downtown) area. Please check with each service provider for pricing, terms & conditions. Visit Ride Finder.io to help keep track of all the ride-sharing services available in the city. The website allows you to put in your starting and ending address, which then estimates your fare across all ride-hailing platforms. Pick-up and Drop-off destinations may vary race morning due to street closures along the race route.
Get Me Get Me [something or somewhere] is your personal ride & delivery service serving the Dallas, Houston, Galveston, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi areas of Texas as well as Las Vegas. And we’re expanding quickly!
RideAustin is a non-profit rideshare built for the Austin community. We offer the ability to ’round-up’ your fare for local charities and organizations. RideAustin now covers the entire greater Austin area – from Round Rock to Kyle to Lakeway to COTA.
FARE is your personal ride alternative when you need to get where you’re going. Unlike other transportation apps, FARE offers referral incentives for both riders and drivers so you can enjoy superior ride service with benefits that continue long after you have arrived at your destination.
