The Statesman Cap10K is proud to showcase live local artists from central Texas each year. From start to finish, experience live entertainment along the 6.2 mile course playing for your enjoyment.
The Tiarra Girls are an all sister band from Austin,Texas. Singer-songwriters, guitar , bass and all percussion sisters perform live genre’s originals and covers. The sisters have been gigging steadily since SXSW 2012. Singer-songwriters, they perform all their own instruments. They began covering songs from Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Corrine Bailey Rae, Cyndi Lauper, Black Keys as well as Selena, Juanes and the list goes on. They have now written several originals from Indie Rock to Reggae and Blues—there is even a Rock version of Como La Flor they perform. As their talent matures they continue a passion of outreach in their community and helping foundations in need.
Audioroad is a melding of five artists each having traveled individual and diverse music roads. The outcome of the new band has proven surprising chemistry, demonstrating that the sum of the parts is what awakens the authentic soul of music. Audioroad’s influences bring everything from 80’s stadium rock, southern harmony, Jim Morrison, and Neil Young into their unique blend of offerings.

Annie & Kate are an acoustic rock duet on the rise! Born and raised in the live music capital of the world of Austin, Texas, the indie rock sisters are multi-instrumentalists and songwriters with an extensive performance history and two original recording projects under their belts. With their signature blend of harmonies, Annie & Kate have been named in the top three under 18 bands by the Austin Music Awards, and are members of both ASCAP and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. You will not want to miss checking out this dynamic duo!
World Gone Made, Drum & Bugle Corps
World Gone Mad Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in 2006 by the Reynolds’ and Mr. Biscuit to give hobbyist musicians the opportunity to perform for the public while allowing them to still have an outside life. WGM was designed with the hobbyist musician in mind.
