Austin 10K’r Austin 10K’r invites you to join us for a unique variety of fun running routes that will compliment your Cap10K training. The Bouldin route is an historic jog south into one of Austin’s oldest neighborhoods. Bouldin Creek dates to the turn of the century, with several historic homes dating to that era still standing. There’s a distance for everyone, with a Kids Marathon family 1-mile, looping 3-mile and adventurous 6-mile routes. Enjoy hot chocolate, Ruta Maya coffee and other snacks when you finish. The Hot Chocolate ‘n’ Marshmallows Run will start and finish at the Austin American-Statesman.

Brief Description

The Austin 10K’r social training routes are Cap10K staff organized runs or walks, which are variable in distance, free, open to the public and designed to promote healthy lifestyle through exercise. All events begin and end at Austin American-Statesman’s West parking lot. Social run route distances vary between 3-6 miles and will be scheduled regularly throughout the year. Each meeting will incorporate a creative theme that highlights the culture of Austin and the Cap10K. Maps, bottled water, nutritional bars, high fives and selfies will be shared at each meeting. Training routes are self-guided and self-paced. Baby Joggers and leashed pets always welcome. Join us on Saturday and bring a friend.
