“We’re proud to announce our partnership with Polar, a global fitness product company, for the 40th running of the Cap10K in 2017,” said Jeff Simecek, Statesman Cap10K race director. “Polar offers a wide range of heart rate monitors, fitness trackers and GPS sports watches designed to help build a healthier lifestyle. The company’s mission aligns with our own, which is for Cap10K race participants to set and meet their fitness goal.”
“As we strengthen our focus on running and run specialty, we’re looking to sponsor events that are aligned with this vision,” stated Stan Brajer, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Polar. With Polar celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017, supporting the 40th running of the Cap10K was a natural fit.”
